Does our food safe enough?

Is your food safe enough? Have you ever thought about the 5 days life-cycle of a chicken to grow up normal? There are many hidden silent killers; ie pesticides in vegetables and fruits, antibiotics in meat and poultry. How do we get rid of that?

Soaking fruits and vege in salt solution removes bacteria, but it stabilizes the chemical substances, which is very very bad for our consumption.

You no longer have to worry about this anymore with a new launched product BIOzone Food Purifier!

My biz partners and I went for a demo yesterday at our leader's IejaWe used lamb shoulder
The Lamb Shoulder to be purified. Immerse the meat in tap water
Connect the tube to BIOzone machine and immersed the end inside the bowl
Select function for meat/poultry - setting for 30 minutes and press ON and wait for 30 mins. As easy as that!
The BIOzone process and bubbling
After 30 minutes. Just look at the bubbles created from the contaminants inside meat.
Use spoon or chopsticks to remove the bubble. Yes, it wont popped! It is sticky.
Aha, it was sticky and that were the thing that went inside our body (sebab tu la byk sgt lemak xnak hilang!)
See! It creates a long chain of fatty acid and accumulated inside our body!
It can be held and when burned, it wont burned out or melted, but became hard
That was with lamb, can you imagine how bad it looked if you used a chicken??

The benefits:
1. Safe
2. Effectively removes contaminants in food
3. Nutrient Retention
4. Consistent ozone output

How it works?
BIOZONE Food Purifier uses a proprietary process integrating ozone-resistant materials to convert oxygen (O2) into ozone (O3). The ozone that eliminates contaminants will be converted back into oxygen. The medical grade silicone tube will then channel the ozone into the water where the food is immersed. Bubbling process will take place to purify the food within the pre-determined time frame.

Will the food nutrients be lost in the purifying process?
We have a laboratory test on the meat to show that most of the nutrients are maintained. This can only be possible using a good food purifier. If you use conventional technology, it might reduce the nutrients substantially.

Can I use to clean baby bottles?
Generally for plastics, we try to avoid direct purification. You can first purify the water in a glass or stainless steel container and use the purified water to rinse the baby bottles.

Why meat has foam, but for vegetables, it is not visible?
Pesticides are generally soluble in water, hence it is not visible.  For the foam, it is a long chain of fatty acid which is more prevalent in meat.  Most of the fatty acid has polymer-based compounds which may be difficult for the body to absorb. If the body is able to absorb, it actually goes into the blood stream which may be bad for health over a long period of intake.

Can I remove antibiotics from the meat during purification process?
The foam did not reveal any antibiotic trace, but during the 30 minutes purification process, the laboratory test report showed that antibiotic was absent after purification.

How can I be certain that BIOZONE Food Purifier can perform 100% purification?
We do not claim that BIOZONE Food Purifier can purify all chemicals by 100%. Our objective is to try to minimise as much chemicals as possible before we consume the food. Most chemicals can be reduced through the BIOZONE Purification Process, which we have a series of laboratory tests to share. Scientifically proven in many advanced countries, ozone technology is commonly used for purification of water, food and swimming pool treatment.

My team will be going to held another demo, with chicken. If anyone of you interested to watch and witness the purification process, do call me.

My Nota Kaki : For those of you who have kids at home, other than opt for an organic food, you can also use this for daily meals. Plus, it can also purifier the baby bottles! a Plus!!

Just some tips for highlights

"Isteri jangan menyakiti hati suami samaada dengan kata kata, tingkah laku atau mimik muka. Suami yang terguris hatinya dan memendam rasa akan mengurangkan komitment terhadap isterinya" Need to improve myself on this!

"Suka merungut merupakan sikap yang perlu dijauhi oleh isteri. Terlalu banyak rungutan boleh menyebabkan suami bosan dan akhirnya mencetuskan konflik dalam rumahtangga"
Also need to improve myself in this department

Pedoman Untuk Suami

Just some tips for highlights

So to all wives and husbands out there, these are all for our guides.. may our love and marriage stays till jannah... amin

Joke of the day : Preve versus Myvi

Have you ever wanted to compare a Preve to a Myvi? Crazy right? They were not in the same group / class! It is funny that i found one article in paul tan's website about Proton's new launch in Australia, and bumped into comments all negatives and positive feedbacks on Proton, overall..including Preve. and this one fella posted that he has bought MyVi over Preve (i was like : Whatt?? are you insane?)
and there were replies from other readers on how stupid crazy he was choosing MyVi over Preve. soo funny!
I totally agree with you, Mr Bat-a-Man on how amazed Ah Beng and Rempits on highway drive Myvi like Ferrari. Like my husband said, myvi is like a fly..lalat..sibuk jugak nak beracing dgn orang lain, while they were not fit for it. yes, boleh laju. but can it come to a stop whenever required?
I'm not criticizing those who owned Myvi, but this serve as a reminder to those who drive a Myvi to be very aware of the speed that this car can goes and the safety aspect of it.

Car Hunting

It is about time.
For what?
For me to let go off my sweet 7 years Kancil, my first car
But..
what car to replace my kancil?
still searching
still hunting
for the best car that can replace my great Kancil
That car should have these criteria:

  1. Easy maneuvering (as in, senang cilok) - the reason why i love my kancil. baek punye cilok!
  2. Low Fuel consumption - also the reason why i love my kancil. isi minyak full sekali tahan seminggu setengah ;)
  3. Trouble-free during parking - correct! kancil? no problem!
  4. Lenguh-free car (as in, Auto mode) - reason why i need to change my kancil. tak tahan mak menekan clutch everytime stuck in traffic. stress mode 1 hour in traffic for a less than 25 km journey.

I've listed a few cars for me to consider.. of course with current salary in the back of mind.. plus with the business has just started, i need to clear off most of major hutangs and the plan for a luxury car (as in, BMW, Nissan 370Z, etc) will be put in another year (aim)

1. Peugeot 308 vti
Visited the showroom last year during car hunting for my husband. The dealer was so good. the interior nice.but i'm concern about the second -hand value.. Naza car..? erm...
2. Ford Fiesta
The exterior can make people went WOW!
I went test drive for this car, along with my two besties, Saniah and Dayang.
The interior made me goes "urmm... are you sure?" Not that wow factor for me. It is nicer to sit in a Proton's car, say Preve, Inspira and even Persona rather than this car.
The performance... can be questionable since I stepped on the gas as hard as i could, but the car moves not that fast as i imagine eventho it was a 1.6L car.
and my 2 friends seating at the back felt quite cramped and crowded for 2 people
3. Nissan Almera
When i showed my husband a picture of this Almera, he didnt agree at all.
So, a complete fullstop there.
4. Kia Forte

The design is nice and catchy. Even before my husband took his Inspira, he even thought about this car. but then when he found out about the R3 kit launched in the 1.8L Inspira, he sort of forgot about this model. i did sign up for a test drive. but up to now, still hv no free time to go. plus, it is again, Naza car...

5. Proton Inspira 2.0L

I love Inspira. Just because I've drove my husband's and fell for it. but two Inspiras in a garage? erm.. doesn't sound right.. but the new color launched in the 2.0P..very very nice!!

6. Honda CRZ Hybrid

Yes, i like hybrid car! environmentally good plus fuel economy. ding ding!
So i went to the nearest Honda, and eyeing closely to this CRZ. GREAT! a sporty car.
Just look at the picture. How could you not love this car??
but.. as i went inside the Honda Showroom, at that time brought along makcik kecik, Lissa, the car dealer immediately said: CRZ is nice, but for family, come follow me.....(maybe bcoz of the 2-door type)
and that brings us to Car No. 7.

7. Honda Jazz Hybrid
Instead of just poking and looking around, the car dealer asked me to feel the car, means test drive it. funny how Lissa reluctantly got inside the car. Kete sape ni mama?
the feel? yes, i love it! the engine was so quiet (yes it is bcoz it's hybrid). the ride was so smooth. I drove on the Federal highway and climbing the steep road but it didnt felt like loosing power, or 1.3L car! sooo powerful. yes, i fall for this car...!
went back, showed the brochure to mr husband (of coz i need his consent)..and he frowned.."erm jazz?" yeah i know it is categorized mostly as female car.. so, berkecai harapan.. he has an intention to drive my car sometimes..

8. Proton Satri Neo R3
These models have been parked in front of my office lately. They are scheduled to launch this month, i heard. a special edition R3 Neo. very tempting! but again, 2-door car? not very family type for me... :(

9. Honda Insight
I've never surveyed this car. my boss suggested it. and it is a hybrid car.. will book a test drive later

10. Toyota Prius C Hybrid

Yes, I am going with the hybrid option. and i've tested drive this car, with Lissa, Hanie and my bestie, Saniah sitting at back. I love it love it love it!!
It has the 3 mode setting. When I want to drive in town, with heavy traffic..or whether to overtake or to just relaxing, cruising on the highway.. they have it all.
very quite engine. very smooth ride. very comfy and spacious. conclusion, very very nice!
And right now toyota is having some promotion on rebate. and for this car they are offering RM5000! yes, of course i can get a deal of the TRD kit. yes! love it love it love it! and mr boss aka mr husband agreed to this model. FINALLY!
more on their rebate promotion for their 30th anniversary? click here

I went to a website for cars comparison at Live Life Drive website. click here
did some comparison between those cars

You can see rating on multiple categories depends on your needs. Lets say CRZ better in performance but lack in roominess.
But overall rating for these models, are pretty much the same..from 4 stars to 4.5 stars.. now, it is time to tepuk dada, tanya selera..

Parenting Tips : Sports Every Dad Should Teach Their Son

Wait a minute! Wasn't this blog is all about mommies and kids? Why out of sudden i wrote about things to do with...D.A.D?
The truth is I've been approached by a blog owner, Emma Robert (Thank you Emma for reading my humble blog) to do a review about her article, titled 10 Sports Every Dad Should Teach Their Son (you can read the whole article here)
I was intrigue by her writing about parenting tips and all. Let's read her tips on Sport, Daddy and Son:
  1. Golf – while playing, you can also earn! i heard golf's tournaments did offer big bucks as present!
  2. Basketball – I love this one. even i think it will be fun to have a session of father, mother and daughter (since i have 2 daughters, and no son)
  3. Football – Not actually a popular game in Malaysia. But I've experienced watching the game live at the stadium during the match of Purdue University vs our rival Indiana University. What i can say, it is definitely an interesting game.
  4. Hockey – This is definitely a teamwork game.
  5. Baseball – Never know how this game is being played.. hehe.
  6. Tennis
  7. Bowling – Nice one! I was BAD in this. but my husband a wowed player. He can score almost a perfect score. and whenever there's a tournament, he'll join and won some.
  8. Swimming – kids = playing water = joy.
  9. Soccer – A favourite sport for the guys. I'd guess my husband will definitely put some "Chelsea" or "Arsenal" element in this (wink!).
  10. Horseback Riding - Never try this :)
Let's visit her blog and you can find lots of ideas on parenting tips, such as :

Seminar SM/SSM 2012 Holiday Inn Glenmarie

Last Saturday, my business partner, Fiza and me went to a once in a year seminar for Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager under G.L.A.S.S (Green Leader Academy Special Seminar) organized by Green Leaders.
The event was held at Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Great since it was near, but I was intrigue when i met many others came all the way from Utara (Penang, Kulim), Pantai Timur (Kelantan & Terengganu) and Selatan (Johor and Melaka).
The proud moment was when my leader, Shaliza Aziz was the MC for the event! She talked flawlessly and managed to control the crowd.. Wee! Congrates to you, babe!
I arrived as early as 7:30 am along with Fiza..just to enjoy the food! hehehe..
There were total of 5 slots for the seminar. 4 slots were before lunch and last slot from Hanis Haizi herself after lunch. They talked about their experience, the tips to success, how to do the Social Media Marketing successfully and more motivations.
And of course the food are one of the main agenda ;) we had 5 "slots" for eating ; starting from breakfast to tea break.
And of course not to miss taking pictures with the millionaires :
The beautiful CDM Hanis Haizi
Current monthly income 6 figures, up to RM200k, only less than 4 years in business
Fiza and hanis
Me and CDM Sha Khalid
Fiza and Sha Khalid
The more than 300 people all over from Malaysia!

The Jasinians (MRSM JASIN) group. Dah mcm reunion plak
What I've learned is that:
1. We need to change to positive minded setting in order to achieve success in life.
2. There was nothing impossible if you believe in yourself.
3. We have to get out of our COMFORT zone to be in a BETTER Comfort zone.

Read this quote. It is so inspiring, from our Hanis Haizi:
"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knnowledge BUT rather a lack of WILL."
Translated as : Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ ada jalan.
Yes, you can DO IT!
We are in the right group. Now we have to apply the right skills and method.
To know more and to be the successful person, i can share you the business plan. Simple and do-able.
